These Terms of Service govern your use of I Did My Chores, operated by Joanna Hodge, She Got Sheets ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. Use of the Service

I Did My Chores is a household chore tracking and payment management tool for families. You must be 18 years or older to create a parent account. The service is intended for personal, non-commercial household use.

2. Accounts and Responsibility

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your household account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information when setting up your account.
  • You may not share your account with other households or use it for commercial purposes.

3. Subscription Plans and Billing

I Did My Chores offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Current introductory pricing is:

  • Free: $0/month — limited to 2 kids and 5 chores
  • Family: $2.99/month
  • Household+: $4.99/month

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months.

Introductory pricing is offered to early members and is subject to change for new subscribers. Existing subscribers will be given advance notice of any price changes.

4. Photo Submissions

By uploading photos to I Did My Chores, you confirm that you have the right to upload and share those images. Photos must only show household spaces and chore completion — do not upload images containing inappropriate, harmful, or identifying content beyond what is necessary for chore proof.

5. Content and Conduct

You agree not to use I Did My Chores to:

  • Upload inappropriate, harmful, or illegal content
  • Attempt to access other households' data
  • Reverse engineer or tamper with the application
  • Use the service in any way that violates applicable law

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

I Did My Chores is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not responsible for any financial disputes between parents and children regarding chore payments — those remain entirely within your household.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Joanna Hodge / She Got Sheets shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of I Did My Chores.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
