Built by a mom who needed it to exist.
I'm Joanna Hodge — a mom on the go, a supply chain analyst by day, and the kind of parent who believes real life skills start inside the house before they ever show up on a resume.
I used to pay my kids twelve dollars a day just for going to school. When summer came and school stopped, I needed a way to keep that same energy going — real money, real accountability, real expectations. I wanted my kids to understand what a pay cycle looks like, what it means to show proof of your work, and what it feels like when the feedback says "do it again, and do it better."
I couldn't find an app that worked the way I thought. Everything was stars and points and cartoon rewards. I needed a timesheet. I needed approval workflows. I needed photo proof so I could stop hearing "I already did it" about a room that was clearly not done.
So I built it. I Did My Chores is tech meeting real life — designed for the household that runs like an operation, built by a mom who needed it to exist.
I Did My Chores is part of the She Got Sheets family — a collection of practical digital tools designed to bring structure, accountability, and clarity to everyday life. From budget trackers to chore systems, everything under this umbrella is built from a real need, tested in a real household.
